Part of me says, “such is the life of an artist.” Look at painters and sculptors like da Vinci and Michaelangelo. They had to know anatomy and their tools to create at such a high level that their work is still relevant today.

Part of me says, “look at how high the 3D animation quality bar has risen.” People can now create much more realistic content and characters in similar amounts of time. 3D animation had a lot of breakthrough innovation and now we’re in a period of incremental innovation.

Maybe AI will be a breakthrough innovation but it may be another enabler of incremental innovation.

As philosopher Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel said, “Nothing great in the world has ever been accomplished without passion.”
